Levenhuk New Blaze ED 70 Spotting Scope #85938

The Levenhuk New Blaze ED 70 is a spotting scope that features extra-low dispersion (ED) optics and a 70mm objective lens. Its zoom lens provides smooth magnification from 20x to 60x. ED glass ensures that images are free of chromatic aberrations and color fringing. Its compact dimensions make this model an excellent choice for hunting, hiking, wildlife observation, marine travel, and professional use. The Levenhuk New Blaze ED 70 is convenient for both field trips and stationary work.

ED glass optics and variable zoom objective lens

The key feature of this model is the use of extra-low dispersion glass. This material minimizes chromatic aberration, or color fringing, which is often seen around objects in standard optics. As a result, the image remains clean and contrasty even when observing dark objects against a bright background. Featuring fully multi‑coated optics for maximum light transmission and a smooth 20–60x zoom, this spotting scope lets you seamlessly transition from a wide panoramic view to a detailed close‑up without losing your target.

Dual‑stage focusing and angled eyepiece

A dual‑stage focusing system is used for precise sharpness adjustment. Coarse focus provides quick targeting, while fine focus delivers the final tuning. The eyepiece is positioned at a 45° angle. This design reduces neck strain during the prolonged observation of high‑altitude objects.

Reliable body and optics protection with nitrogen filling

The body is made of high‑strength plastic with rubber armor. This protects the optics from impacts and ensures a secure grip. The interior is completely sealed and nitrogen‑filled to prevent the optics from fogging up during sudden temperature changes. The spotting scope is protected against moisture and dust. Therefore, it can be used in heavy rain, snow, or conditions of high humidity.

Extended usability

The kit includes a metal tabletop tripod that provides stability when using high magnifications. The included smartphone adapter lets you mount your phone securely to the eyepiece, instantly transforming the scope into a powerful telephoto lens. Capture stunning visuals from your observations and share your discoveries with the world. A standard 1/4” tripod socket is provided for mounting on full‑size tripods.
