All optical elements are made of BaK-4 glass, and the lenses have several layers of anti-reflection coating. Five-element eyepieces minimize geometric and optical distortions and transmit an ideally flat picture throughout the field of view.
The shell of these binoculars is made of aluminum. It is durable, reliable and protected from falls and vibrations. The hermetic design protects the optics from rain, dust and dirt. Inside, the binoculars are filled with nitrogen, which prevents the lenses from fogging during rapid temperature changes.
