The Levenhuk Blaze BASE 80 terrestrial telescope with a variable zoom objective lens is excellent for observing large objects, as well as those very distant. The telescope’s optics are made of BK-7 glass. All optical elements exposed to air have been treated with a multilayer anti-reflective coating. Thanks to the large-diameter objective, the telescope gathers a lot of incoming light, producing a clear and contrasted image even in cloudy weather or at dusk. The long eye relief allows observation even while wearing glasses.

The Levenhuk Blaze BASE 80 has a plastic body. It fits any standard tripod with a 1/4" thread. The kit includes a metal tabletop tripod for positioning the telescope on a support surface, such as a windowsill or table. The included hard case can be used for protection and transport.
