The Levenhuk 7S NG microscope is specially designed for school-age children interested in science. A reliable and easy-to-use optical instrument that allows exploring the micro world with an 800x magnification. This magnification is sufficient for performing fun biological experiments, observing single-celled organisms, and studying prepared microscope slides.
The microscope features a classic illumination system consisting of an Abbe condenser, an iris diaphragm, and colored filters. The illuminator is a mirror placed under the stage. The design of this optical instrument does not require AC power, making it safer, especially for children.
The optical scheme of the Levenhuk 7S NG consists of a rotating triple objective turret, objectives mounted with different magnification levels, and two eyepieces; the latter are installed on the optical tube to adjust the magnification and field of view of the microscope. The slides are placed on the stage. It is equipped with a mechanical graduated scale that allows moving the slides along two axes, the X-axis (left-right) and the Y-axis (forward-backward). Coarse and fine focus knobs are used to adjust sharpness.
The microscope body is made of metal, robust, reliable, and durable.
