The Levenhuk 500T POL microscope allows for research in bright field and with the use of polarized light. Its capabilities prove useful in medicine, biology, crystallography, criminology, metallography, and other scientific fields. This professional-level microscope features a reliable design and high-quality optics.
It is a model with a trinocular head: a binocular viewer, slightly inclined, and an eyepiece tube for the installation of a digital camera, in a vertical position. The head can be rotated 360°. The optical system consists of widefield eyepieces with 10x magnification and achromatic objectives with magnifications of 4x, 10x, 40x, and 100x. The front lenses of the 40x and 100x objectives are equipped with a protective retractable spring mechanism. Observations can be made using the oil immersion method with the 100x objective. Focus adjustment is available both in coarse and fine modes.
The microscope is equipped with a round, rotatable stage. Slides are secured on the stage using classic clips. Under the stage, there is a condenser with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder. At the lowest part of the instrument is the illumination unit, consisting of a 3W LED bulb with a collector. The light brightness is adjustable. Additionally, the microscope has a built-in polarizer and analyzer.
The light is powered by AC mains.
