VX-6 features a wide 6:1 zoom ratio and edge-to-edge crystal-clear images. Use the minimum zoom setting for a wider field of view on nearby, fast-moving game. Medium magnifications are ideal for bringing targets closer as needed without losing image quality and precision. Higher magnifications are for bringing distant targets closer, allowing for a detailed inspection to achieve a more precise shot.

Twin Bias Spring Erector System (double antagonistic spring erector mechanism) uses beryllium/copper alloy springs and strip to withstand the most intensive use.

The geometry of each lens is maximized through the combination of Zemax optical design software and Leupold's evaluation tool – the Zygo interferometer. The result is extremely sharp images across the entire light clarity range.
