This die features a “dead length” seating system with smooth and accurate adjustment. Tests show that the bullet sliding guide ensures cartridges with minimal bullet runout. When used as a “dead length” die, the die body contacts the shell holder, ensuring a constant and precise seating depth.

The micrometer drum laser-engraved with thousandths of an inch divisions is easy to read and functions like a precision depth micrometer. The adjustment is continuous and infinitely variable, offering perfect control over bullet seating depth.

The bullet seating stem is machined and polished to fit virtually any bullet nose shape without damaging it or leaving marks. 

The floating bullet guide is reversible: simply unscrew and reinstall it to allow simultaneous seating and crimping, an exclusive Lee Precision feature. This die proves that precision does not have to come at a high cost.
