The Interlock band keeps the jacket and core bonded during expansion so that the SST can retain the mass and energy necessary for impressive channels.
GROOVING
The grooving works in combination with the Interlock band to bond core and jacket, while also providing a consistent crimping position during loading.
SECANT OGIVE DESIGN
The profile produces low aerodynamic resistance and flatter trajectories. The excellent surface contact with the rifling ensures stability in flight and the best ballistic coefficient.
