LOCK-N-LOAD® BULLET COMPARATOR.

Measuring cartridge length at the bullet tip is not a reliable or repeatable system for measuring loaded cartridges. It is easy to find variations of up to 0.25 inches between one cartridge and another. This comparator measures cartridges from the ogive base, providing consistent and precise measurements.

It can also be used to check bullet uniformity from the base to the ogive. In combination with the length gauge, the comparator allows for maximum measurement precision. The comparator, in fact, aligns the length checker for maximum measurement accuracy with the caliper. This method allows direct comparison of your reloads, depending on the setting on the bullet seating die.
