POLYMER TIP
The tough, streamlined polymer tip increases aerodynamic efficiency and acts as a wedge toward the core on impact, initiating fast but controlled expansion.
INTERLOCK® BAND
The Interlock band keeps the jacket and core locked together during expansion so the SST can retain the mass and energy necessary for impressive wound channels.
CRIMP GROOVING
The crimp grooving works in combination with the Interlock band to lock the core and jacket, while also providing a consistent crimping position during loading.
SECANT OGIVE DESIGN
The profile produces low aerodynamic drag and flatter trajectories. The excellent rifling contact surface ensures in-flight stability and the best ballistic coefficient.
