The Interlock band holds the jacket and core together during expansion, so the SST can retain the mass and energy necessary for impressive wound channels.
FLUTING
The fluting works in combination with the Interlock band to bind the core and jacket, while also providing a consistent crimp position during loading.
SECANT OGIVE DESIGN
The profile produces low aerodynamic drag and flatter trajectories. The excellent surface contact with the rifling ensures stability in flight and the best ballistic coefficient.
