Forster created the first Die of its kind on the market, and remains still the best straight line seating Die available. The sliding Die chamber has a channel for the bullet concentrically slightly larger than the diameter of the bullet. This tight fit ensures a straight line (coaxial) installation.

The hand-polished bullet seating stem provides consistent reloads. The seating Die fits most standard reloading presses. Its non-crimp style offers precision, consistency, and perfect alignment.

Years ago, Forster/Bonanza obtained U.S. patent #3,440,923 for the original Bench Rest seating Die design. That patent covered the use of a specially machined, tight tolerance chamber that holds the case, bullet, and seating stem all in perfect alignment. This innovative chamber design is still the hallmark of our Bench Rest seating Dies, as it represents the main system of all "in-line" seating systems, which support the entire outside diameter of the sized case rather than just the bullet and the case neck.

We have continued to refine our seating stems to better fit newly designed ballistic bullets and to match most very low drag (VLD) bullets. Our tight tolerance chamber (part #P-30), made with one-piece reamers, ensures concentricity and precision.
