The device uses the True RMS method, in which calculations of variable quantities are carried out using the true root mean square value, and so the measured value will be as accurate as possible.

Clamps measure alternating current without breaking the circuit, other measured parameters are resistance, direct and alternating voltage, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle, and temperature. The device also operates in diode testing and continuity mode, and it can work as a phase detector and hazardous voltage detector (NCV).

The Ermenrich Ping MK30 digital clamp meter is battery-powered, equipped with an auto-off function, and notifies you of the need to replace the batteries if they are running low.
