The Ermenrich NG20 gas detector is a portable, instant-response, and easy-to-use gas detector that allows you to identify gas leaks. This device should always be within reach if you have gas appliances such as stoves, boilers, fireplaces, water heaters, etc. Its use helps prevent fire outbreaks by detecting the hazard in a timely manner. It is recommended to check gas appliances and their related pipelines at least once a week.
Instead of a screen, this device has a small panel with alert indicators: a yellow LED light for minimal leaks at 500 ppm and a red LED light for more substantial gas leaks at 2,000 ppm. Additionally, there is also an audible alarm. When the green LED light is on and steady, it means the gas concentration is within the normal range. When the green LED light flashes, the batteries need to be changed immediately.
This device is lightweight, comfortably handheld, and powered by two standard batteries. It features an automatic shut-off function for energy saving. A set of batteries normally lasts for about 200 measurements.
