We are proud to present the Discovery optical instrument line, produced by Levenhuk and sponsored by Discovery.
The Discovery Spark Travel 60 telescope will be appreciated by any budding astronomy enthusiast. The refractor is sold in colorful gift packaging that includes not only the telescope itself but all necessary accessories such as a tripod, a carrying case, and the educational book “Space. Void Not Void”. This colorful illustrated guide offers numerous useful insights into the night sky, providing a solid theoretical foundation before proceeding with observations.
The Discovery Spark Travel 60 model delivers good performance for studying the lunar surface and observing terrestrial objects during the day. The brightest objects in interplanetary and cosmic space can be seen as bright points. The telescope’s lenses are made of optical glass with anti-reflective coating, which improves image quality and sharpness. Additionally, the optics are achromatic, so no chromatic aberration can interfere with image formation.
The telescope’s optical tube is mounted on a simple fork altazimuth mount that allows movement along the altitude and azimuth axes. There is a locking knob for smoother and more precise adjustment. This telescope can be easily assembled and set up by users of any skill level. The tripod is made of aluminum and features a center tray. The tray compartments are useful for placing accessories, of which the kit is well supplied: 4 eyepieces, a mirror diagonal, and a powerful 3x Barlow lens.
