The Discovery Spark 809 EQ telescope with educational book will be appreciated by both beginners and more experienced users. It is a long focal length refractor with achromatic optics that allows studying the Moon in every detail, viewing planets, and observing other deep-sky objects. This telescope does not require waiting for sunset to be used: during the day, it can function as a terrestrial spotting scope with high magnification for observing urban and natural landscapes.
The equatorial mount used for aiming the Discovery Spark 809 EQ telescope is equipped with knobs for micrometric motion control, ensuring comfortable and precise positioning. It is easy to track objects before they leave the field of view due to their apparent motion across the sky. The optics of this achromatic refractor produce an image free of chromatic aberrations, and the anti-reflection coating makes it clear and crisp. It is possible to observe the night sky at various magnifications by changing the eyepieces and combining them with the Barlow lens. Also included are an erecting eyepiece and a 90° mirror diagonal for terrestrial observations.
During observations, accessories can be placed on the tray located in the center of the tripod's legs, in custom compartments. The tripod is made of aluminum and remains stable even on rough terrain. Among all the accessories in the colorful gift box, there is one extremely useful item: the illustrated educational book “Space. Not-Empty Vacuum.” It is a guide with colorful illustrations presenting various interesting information about astronomical objects in an easy-to-understand format.
