The Discovery Sky Trip ST50 is a beginner-level refracting telescope, perfect for a first introduction to cosmic space. It can be used to observe the Moon and planets, as well as zoom in on distant terrestrial objects by using it as a powerful spotting scope. Regarding observing deep space objects, this telescope allows viewing of the brightest celestial bodies. It is an easy-to-use telescope: its altazimuth mount allows moving the tube up and down, right and left.
The Discovery Sky Trip ST50 telescope is sold with many accessories and the educational book 'Space. Vacuum non-vacuum.' Beginners can discover fascinating information about star observation and immediately apply the knowledge gained. The eyepieces of various focal lengths and the Barlow lens allow experimenting with magnification factors, while the optical finder helps correctly locate specific objects in the celestial sphere. The adjustable tripod adapts to the observer's height.
One of the main advantages of this model is the ultra-compact optical tube: it is almost half the length compared to many other refractors. Therefore, this telescope is easy to carry during outings. Additionally, the kit includes a special backpack dedicated to comfortably transporting the optical instrument with all its accessories. A smartphone adapter allows trying astrophotography by capturing snapshots of cosmic space exploration.
