The Discovery Sky T50 telescope is a refractor suitable for beginner-level astronomical use. It requires no special setup, as it is easy to operate and equipped with everything needed for observations; also included is the book “Space. Non-empty Vacuum.” This telescope is ideal for observing terrestrial objects and the Moon. It is also possible to observe many celestial bodies in the near space, but the smallest details will not be visible. The telescope comes in a colorful package with visible branding, making it perfect as a gift.

The telescope’s strengths are evident right from the first use. Two eyepieces with different focal lengths and a Barlow lens enable the telescope to be used with maximum useful magnification, and the mirror diagonal makes terrestrial object observations more practical. Additionally, an optical finder helps the observer to accurately aim the telescope at the desired objects.

The AZ mount has a rotation knob, useful for orienting the telescope up or down, right or left. The tripod is made of aluminum alloy, and its legs can be adjusted independently to create a stable support platform on nearly any surface.

The educational book “Space. Non-empty Vacuum” is a pleasant and useful addition. Written in clear and evocative language, accompanied by vivid illustrations, the book describes a wide variety of astronomical objects: the Sun, planets with their satellites, meteors, comets, distant stars, and much more.
