The Discovery Range 70 terrestrial spotting scope is an optical instrument with a 25—75x magnification. This allows you to quickly switch from studying the overall landscape to spotting very distant objects. The capabilities of this terrestrial spotting scope enable observing wild animals and birds from a safe distance, as well as foreign areas, groups of moving objects, and mobile targets.

The spotting scope’s lenses are made of BK-7 glass. The optics are protected by a fully multi-coated anti-reflective treatment that makes the produced image brighter and sharper. Dioptric adjustment of the eyepiece is also available. Additionally, the long eye relief allows observations while wearing glasses.

Due to the high magnification of this instrument, the use of a tripod during observations is recommended. It is included and provides greater image stability. The tripod can be adjusted with a convenient control knob. The kit includes a small tripod and a plastic case for protection and transport of the instrument and its accessories.

Furthermore, it is possible to install a smartphone adapter on the Discovery Range 70.
