The Discovery Night BL10 is a binocular night vision device with a digital image intensifier that proves practical for use under various lighting conditions. It features photo and video capture capabilities and is also equipped with a small tabletop tripod for more comfortable field observations. This device is useful for night hunting, ensures the safety of a campsite during a hike, and is an excellent choice for exploring new territories. Since the Discovery Night BL10 is a 2-in-1 instrument, it can be used not only at night but also during the day as a regular binocular!

Detection range: 250 meters in total darkness

Fully coated optics with anti-reflective silicon dioxide treatment reproduce crystal-clear images with high contrast. The instrument transmits light effectively and, by day, can clearly show any object placed beyond 3 meters. The night visual field is 250 meters. It is recommended to turn on the integrated IR illumination to improve visibility while remaining hidden from the sight of others and undetected even by the most timid wild animals. The infrared (IR) light brightness is adjustable in 7 levels. Please note that the device can display an image in color, black and white, fluorescent green, or with a negative effect. However, color imaging is not available when night mode is active.

Integrated recorder for photo and video capture

The device stores photos and video recordings on a memory card. You can select the image resolution: the maximum for a photo is 2048x1536 pixels. The frame rate is the standard 30 fps, which helps make videos appear smoother and visually pleasant. There is no need to transfer the footage to your PC; you can view it directly on the screen. Use the USB connection to transfer data to external storage.

All the features necessary for field observation

When in the field, it is particularly important to have reliable equipment at hand. The body of the Discovery Night BL10 is waterproof, and the device offers a firm grip; the control buttons are right under the user's fingers. The device is intuitive and easy to use. It is powered by standard batteries or rechargeable Ni-MH batteries and has a runtime of 4 to 10 hours of continuous recording (depending on the intensity of the IR illuminator). Included in the package is a small folding tripod that stabilizes the device for distortion-free image capture.

Note well: during operation, the IR illumination (infrared light) can be detected by cameras and camcorders as well as other similar electronic devices.
