The Discovery Crafts DHD 30 is a front magnifying lens with interchangeable and combinable lenses. This tool allows choosing the optimal magnification for the task at hand, keeps hands free, and features built-in illumination. The magnification device has a short focal length, making it more suitable for repairs, appraisals, and craftsmanship. It can also be useful for reading printed texts in small fonts.

The lenses are rectangular and designed for observation with both eyes. The lens material is high-transparency optical polymer glass. This is a robust and durable material that reproduces clear and high-contrast images. One or two lenses (in series) can be mounted on the magnification device.

The illumination is centered and consists of two very bright LEDs. The light is powered by standard batteries. The headband of the magnification device is adjustable in size.
