The Discovery Basics EK50 exploration kit consists of items that can be useful during a camping trip. It is an essential kit for nature hikes since it allows quick orientation in the woods, exploration of the surroundings, and signaling for help in case of emergency. All the kit’s items are stored in a convenient backpack.

The main element of the set is, without a doubt, the binoculars. It is a real optical instrument in every respect, with roof prisms, adjustable interpupillary distance, and central focusing. It is a fantastic tool for discovering the world around us. Additionally, it is comfortable to hold and reproduces sharp, clear, and high-contrast images.

The other essential components of the kit are: a liquid compass with North indicator, a multifunction “3 in 1” whistle (whistle, compass, and thermometer in a single instrument), and a dynamo flashlight.

The compass proves useful for finding the correct direction and determining the position of the cardinal points. The compass features a sighting slot, a sighting line, and a foldable cover. The whistle is designed to send acoustic signals and measure air temperature. Additionally, there is a small compass located on the body of the whistle. A dynamo flashlight is an illumination device that operates without the use of batteries. The bulb is powered by pressing a lever. This is an incredibly practical tool for field use since this flashlight does not need to be recharged nor require battery replacement.
