The Discovery Atto Polar microscope is designed for the study of the microcosm with adjustable magnification from 40x to 1000x. It is possible to conduct examinations in reflected and transmitted light, as well as with oil immersion. This instrument will prove to be a capable assistant for hobbies, university studies, and even laboratory experiments. An in-depth educational book, “Invisible World,” is included in the kit.

The microscope is equipped with a monocular head that rotates and tilts at 45°, making prolonged observations or group experiments more comfortable. When many people need to observe the same sample, the head can be rotated at will without moving the entire instrument.

The magnification range goes from 40x to 1000x. The 10x wide-field eyepiece is equipped with a pointer. The achromatic objectives of 4x, 10x, 40x, and 100x are conveniently mounted on a revolving nosepiece, allowing for quick adjustment of the magnification factor. The 40x and 100x objectives have spring mechanisms. Additionally, there is coarse and fine focus adjustment.

The microscope stage is equipped with a mechanical translator for greater convenience. The Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm and filter holder is positioned beneath the stage. The illumination system consists of two parts: an adjustable upper and lower intensity light source. Illumination can be powered by batteries (not included) or via wall outlet (AC adapter included).

The book “Invisible World” is a wonderful educational text that discusses microscopes and the microcosm. It includes references to scientific theories and practical advice on how to conduct experiments at home. It is a perfect complement to the Discovery Atto Polar microscope.
