The Discovery Artisan 512 digital microscope is suitable for working with precious metals, jewelry, circuit boards, clock restoration, minerals, and biological samples. Due to the polarizing filter, it is convenient to use even for observing objects with shiny surfaces, as the filter reduces stray reflections. The built-in camera allows for capturing images and shooting videos. This option can be helpful for maintaining digital archives of observations.

The produced images are taken by a 5Mpx microscope camera. The brightness of the LED illumination can be adjusted to provide the best lighting for the work area. The optical magnification ranges from 10 to 300x and thanks to the digital zoom, it allows for observing objects at magnifications up to 1200x. The colorful and detailed image is displayed on the 5'' built-in LCD screen. The display makes it easier to use the device for a longer time, as it is much more convenient to look at the screen than through the eyepiece of a classical microscope. The color display has a higher resolution.

The microscope can be connected to an external monitor, a TV, or a computer. The kit includes all of the necessary cables. Therefore, you don't need to buy them separately. A memory card is used to record photos and videos (not included). MicroSD cards with a capacity up to 32GB are supported. The microscope comes with software that should be installed on a computer, providing measuring objects and many other functions. You can measure the radius, diameter, three-point angle, line length, and much more.

The microscope is powered by an AC supply or the built-in battery that provides up to three hours of continuous work.

In order for the program to operate correctly, please launch the installed application only when your microscope is connected to a PC and ready for observations.

Note: Remember that the power supply in the US and Canada is 110V, and it is 220-240V in most European countries. Please refer to the specifications table for the correct voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter.

The Discovery Artisan 512 digital microscope is not compatible with external digital cameras.
