The Discovery Artisan 16 digital microscope is ideal for examining coins, working with metals, repairing electronic circuits, checking the quality of a blade's edge, as well as restoring artworks or conducting highly specialized applied scientific research. This microscope can be used with or without a support arm. To observe the image of the object under examination, it is necessary to connect the microscope to a PC. You can view the object on the PC screen, take photos, record videos, and perform linear and angular measurements.

The microscope is equipped with a 2 MP digital camera (in place of the objective lens), which allows capturing images at 1600x1200 pixels. Magnification can be varied between 20x and 230x, with manual focus available between 0 mm and 150 mm. In low light conditions, it is possible to turn on the backlighting composed of 8 adjustable intensity white LED lights.

The microscope is compatible with Windows and Mac OS operating systems. A USB cable is used for connection to the PC and for charging the microscope. The body is rubber-coated for a more comfortable grip. The Discovery Artisan 16 digital microscope is extremely easy to use. It is very compact, so it does not take up much space on the desk.
