The Levenhuk Halo 13X digital monocular night vision device features an integrated recorder and can therefore be used both for visual observation and for capturing photos and recording videos. The device operates effectively in complete darkness. In daylight, it can also be used as a regular monocular. The Levenhuk Halo 13X is an excellent choice for night hunting, orienteering, military exercises, and patrolling.
Detection range in total darkness: up to 300 meters
The optics are made of glass with a silicon dioxide anti-reflective coating. Thanks to this feature, in darkness the monocular delivers a clear and contrasted image, while during the day it produces detailed and bright images. During the day, it is possible to study any object placed at any distance. At night, the view extends up to 300 meters. The use of IR illumination is recommended for better image clarity in complete darkness. There are 7 brightness levels, making it possible to adjust them according to the actual lighting conditions. To save battery life, the minimum brightness level should be used, while the maximum level is useful for obtaining an image richer in details. Note that the device can display an image in color, black and white, fluorescent green, or with a negative effect. However, color images are not available when night mode is active.
High-quality video and photo recording
Thanks to the integrated recorder, the device can take photos and record videos. Data are saved on a memory card (included) and can be transferred to a computer via a USB cable. The maximum resolution is 2048x1536 pix for photos and 1920x1080 pix for videos. However, if necessary, it can be reduced to 640x480 pixels. Videos are recorded at 30fps, regardless of image resolution, so they are always smooth and pleasant to watch.
Up to 10 hours of autonomy without battery replacement
The monocular features a waterproof body with 1/4" threading. Thanks to the ergonomic design, the monocular is comfortable to hold. The device controls are very easy to use. This monocular night vision device is powered by AA batteries (not included), given their convenience when operating in the field. Drained batteries can be easily replaced with new ones, while recharging them in the field would be extremely difficult. The device has an autonomy from 4 to 10 hours with a single set of batteries, depending on the brightness level of the backlight.
Note well: during operation, IR illumination (infrared light) can be detected by cameras and camcorders as well as other similar electronic devices.
