The Caldwell Ballistic Precision Chronograph Premium Kit is a must-have for shooters seeking to optimize reloading data, for archers, and for airgun enthusiasts. This kit includes everything in the standard Ballistic Precision Chronograph package (product no. 626107) with some additions to make it even better.

The chronograph will provide an accurate velocity reading from a speed between 5 and 9,999 fps with an accuracy of .25%. Caldwell achieved this level of accuracy by using a high-speed 48 MHz processor and calibrating each unit after assembly before it leaves the factory.

The chronograph also remains simple to use, providing a velocity reading in feet per second or meters per second on a large LCD screen. Extra wide sunshades for full sun shading and a threaded insert for use with a tripod are included (included).

For shooting enthusiasts who want to make full use of this chronograph, a 15' audio jack cable is included which can be connected to an iPhone or iPad to use a free application called "Ballistic Chronometer" available for download. This APP will display the velocity of each shot on the screen and record it along with other data identifying the current load and environmental conditions during the shooting session. Other data calculated by the app includes average velocity, standard deviation, minimum velocity, maximum velocity, and string velocity spread.
