The bullet cartridge cases must withstand pressures up to as much as 7,000 bar and are therefore considered the life insurance of the shooter. To always be on the safe side, we have developed the most stringent tests in the entire sector. Samples are taken from each batch during the full cycle, cartridges are loaded, and then subjected to an extreme test: • They are tested with a 10% overpressure in special pressure barrels characterized by closure dimensions often not even permissible, with variations from 0.2 up to 0.4 mm compared to the standard. This procedure simulates a similar condition of old firearms actually existing on the market. • Additionally, there are strength tests with a +30% overpressure in pressure barrels constructed according to CIP regulations. A cartridge case that passes our quality control has a value of its own: it is an RWS cartridge case.
