The bullet cartridge cases must withstand pressures up to as much as 7,000 bar and are therefore considered the shooter’s life insurance. To always be on the safe side, we have developed the most rigorous tests in the entire industry. Samples are taken from each batch in a full cycle, cartridges are loaded, and then subjected to an extreme test: • They are tested with a 10% overpressure in special proof barrels characterized by locking dimensions often not even permissible, with variations from 0.2 up to 0.4 mm compared to the standard. This procedure simulates similar conditions of old firearms actually existing on the market. • Additionally, there are strength tests with +30% overpressure in proof barrels built according to CIP regulations. A case that passes our quality control has a value of its own: it is an RWS case.
