Metal
BALLISTOL is universally used in machine and tool manufacturing, in the processing of precision instruments and scales. BALLISTOL forms an alkaline protective film on metals, neutralizes hand sweat and other acidic residues that promote rust, protecting against corrosion. Due to its low surface tension and enormous penetration capacity, BALLISTOL also reaches the narrowest corners and finest cracks in the metal. Ideal for the maintenance of precision measuring instruments, scales, and small parts. Its biocompatibility reduces PPE requirements for handling treated parts and facilitates waste disposal operations, which results in increased productivity.

Leather
BALLISTOL effectively protects leather from drying out and penetration by water and dirt. Residues of tanning acids are neutralized. Dry leather becomes soft and elastic again, with a silky shine. The typical BALLISTOL scent dissipates very quickly and leaves no greasy traces. Light-colored leathers may darken with BALLISTOL application.

Wood
BALLISTOL protects, preserves, and regenerates natural wood. It highlights the grain, protects against moisture, rot, and insects. Also ideal for the maintenance of antique furniture.

Synthetic and rubber
BALLISTOL cares for and protects synthetic materials and oil-resistant rubbers, keeps them elastic, and protects against drying out and stiffening. Prevents rubber seals on vehicle doors from sticking due to frost. Synthetic surfaces regain their original shine without needing greasing.

Human and animal skin
BALLISTOL is compatible with skin, absolutely harmless even if accidentally ingested, and dermatologically tested with an “excellent” result. For animals, it is used to clean skin, the external ear flap, and for the care of tails, manes, and hooves.
