A simple and effective system to visually check the powder charge when using a progressive press. The Powder Checker is positioned between the powder charging station and the bullet seating station. Using a rod as a probe, it allows for a visual confirmation that the case is actually charged with powder before the bullet is seated. In addition to indicating an undercharge condition, the Powder Checker also detects low or high powder charge conditions. A blackened finish provides excellent contrast for better visibility. It can be used with both pistol and rifle cases.
