Descrizione

The iris diaphragm is used to adjust the amount of light passing through the optical system of the CMO stereomicroscope. The opening of the diaphragm affects the depth of field and contrast of the image.

The diaphragm should be precisely adjusted in materials science and industrial inspection, where the image information content directly depends on how the contrast and depth of field are optimized. This adjustment is important for observations and capturing clear digital images.

The iris diaphragm is mounted between the microscope head and zoom objective.
