Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 70 Telescope

Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 70 is a refractor telescope, lightweight and easy to operate, with excellent optical capabilities. The telescope is perfect for use in dark sky conditions, away from city lights, ideal for observing the planets of the Solar System and the surface of the Moon. In conditions of minimal light pollution and good weather conditions, it is possible to observe Messier objects (though details will not be visible), lunar craters up to a maximum of 8 km in diameter, and stars up to magnitude 11.5. Included with the telescope is a prism diagonal that produces an upright, distortion-free image, enabling comfortable observation of terrestrial objects.

The kit includes a solar filter made of thick protective film that will allow viewing of sunspots through this excellent telescope. Maximum caution is required when observing solar activity. Always ensure that the solar filter is securely attached to the telescope tube. The filter must completely cover the aperture. Never observe the Sun or the bright areas around it with the finder scope.

An extended kit includes 67x and 20x eyepieces and 3x Barlow lenses, a solar filter, and a prism diagonal, through which it is possible to achieve 200x magnification. The telescope is equipped with a 5x24 finder scope.

The telescope is compact thanks to an optical tube length of 40 cm. Even children will be able to use an altazimuth mount, which allows moving the optical instrument simply along vertical and horizontal axes by means of a special handle. The telescope requires no additional setup. It is enough to assemble it and adjust the height of the aluminum tripod.

The telescope, mount, tripod, and all optical accessories fit comfortably into the Levenhuk branded backpack included in the kit, allowing you to take it with you or go to the park on a nice day to observe the Sun.

WARNING! Never observe the Sun directly without a special protective solar filter, as permanent eye damage and even blindness can occur!
